: : one of a kind

: What's your question?

It often occurs that when I've seen a phrase on this Forum, the next piece of reading material I pick up or the next TV show I watch has that very phrase. This morning, on "Dogs with Jobs," a policeman described his specially trained rescue dog as "one of a kind," meaning he's in a class by himself, unlike any other. And truly he was; this dog was a nonpareil. (I recommend the show to anyone of any age.) SS
