Origin? Asking for origins is pretty optimistic. But if it's meaning you want, say so. Someone with his head in the clouds is seeing clouds, rather than what's going on way down here on earth. If his head is in the clouds, he is way too distracted to know what's going on. He is in a rarefied and remote atmosphere. Something like that. SS
