: Not a real club, in the sense of membership cards, dues, and parliamentary procedure at the meetings ... but one that people can claim membership if they have sex while aloft in an airplane. Not sure of origins; it's at least 30 years old.

I though that, technically, you had to be a mile or more of the ground to claim membership and not just "aloft"? Or am I being pedantic? Pamela
