: : : : : : : Hi,

: : : : : : : What is the name of the workshop of a chiropractor?

: : : : : : : a saloon? a shop? orr....

: : : : : : : thanks a lot in advance

: : : : : : A charlatans lair?

: : : : : I think you mean "salon", which is defined as "a stylish business establishment or shop", instead of "saloon" which is a tavern or bar.

: : : : : But I wouldn't say "salon". I'd say "office" here in the northeastern U.S., although Flyguy's alternative is applicable if you have insurance.

: : : : Office.

: : : Lair. Haha, you sound like you have some bad experiences. Personally, I LOVE my chiropractor (well metaphorically speaking).

: : : Here(in the land of Oz), we'd say 'rooms'. Much like a doctor. Although this term always amuses me when there is in fact only one room. We also say, Chiropractor's surgery sometimes, which is to me a chronic misnomer. But I can only assume it's a carry-over from doctor's surgery - which is also generally a misnomer when referring to a clinic or GP (general practice). But, nonetheless, it's a common thing to say here.

: : Consultants have 'rooms'.

: True - but clearly that term has been stretched here.

In U.S. usage, a doctor of medicine or a chiropractor has an office, not a surgery or rooms.
