: Today a friend told me that she'd read that someone recently one a 'cool million'. She asked me why it's referred to as a 'cool million', particularly she said, as if "I'd won it, I'd have thought it was pretty hot!!!".
: I suggested that things that are cool, are often hot when you think about it. After we discussed that peculiar fact, she then said that she was sure that the term 'cool million' had been used long before the term 'cool' became 'cool'.
: So does anyone have any idea what I just said? Cool!!! If so, well cool!!!!!!!
Cool goes back to 1900.
