: When a person said,
: "My vehicle was broken into and my field kit was
: stolen."
: the other man replied (sarcastically)
: "Gonna cramp your style."
: what does that mean?
It's going to change or interfere with your normal way of doing things. CRAMP -- "b : to restrain from free expression -- used especially in the phrase 'cramp one's style'" (Merriam-Webster online)
I don't know why the first speaker was sarcastic. Maybe he thought having a field kit was nerdy. The idea being he didn't think the other guy had any style in the first place.
