: : : (a head?)

: : : 2.Kaka hopes to play a bigger role as captain of the under-23 side that will take part in 2004 Olympic Games.
: : : (under-23 side? )

certain sports have age limits on contestants in a team - 'the under 23 side' means a team that fits the rules for 'under 23' as defined for that competition. In football, these descriptions are often misleading as the rules often permit a certain number of players outside the specified age e.g. an "under 21" side can have some players
who are over 21 years old, but the majority of the team must be less than 22. The rules vary from competition to competition, so be wary of taking such a description entirely literally.
