: : : The words anger and exasperation are synonym's but how would you elpain the difference between them?

: : : Thanks
: : Not synonymous, really. One can be angry without being exasperated; one can be exasperated without being angry. Anger is an emotion of hostility towards a person, situation, or condition. One could be angry at something sudden, like dropping something fragile. Exasperation includes anger, but also includes irritation or annoyance. You could be exasperated by a puzzle you can't solve.

: To add a little to the mix, exasperation is a kind of sub-set of the more general word anger. Exasperation always includes an element of frustration.

Fallen! Things have been so much duller without you.
