1) In the recent 'sausage-gate' where the young lady dressed as an Italian sausage at a Milwaukee Brewers game was knocked over by a player, I thought I heard her refer to the incident as 'a joke in poor favor'. Has anyone ever heard this expression used? Is it regional?
2) In the film "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" a reference is made to "who hit johnny" as a term for whisky. Anyone familiar with that phrase origin?
