Some suggestions.Things that come easily are handed to you on a plate. When they happen as a result of wealth, they may be served on a silver platter.
Silver is associated with affluence and a life of ease - He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth.
Large dishes were served on platters, another sign of wealth. Notably, according to the Gospel of Mark, the daughter of Herodias asked Herod for the head of John the Baptist on a platter.
