: : : : Hi,
: : : : I just bought a bottle of "save the baby" It still had the medicine in it in the original box with the direction slip. I have never heard of it and I thought it was really neat as a collectable. How old do you think it is?? I would love more info, Thanks
: : : For your sake, I hope you find out how old it is before drinking any.
: : : Have you seen this post in the archives:

: : : (link below)?
: : It was used during the 50s. I don't know when it was first used. I tried previously to find something about it online and couldn't. Who produced it? Was it Watkins? The reason I'm asking is that the "Watkins man" used to go door-to-door in my part of the country (West Virginia) and sell vanilla and other flavorings, medicine, etc.
: Hi,
: I am not going to use it!!!!! It is for a collection. It was made byWilliam w Lee and Co inc. I have found nothing yet. Thanks a lot for responding!
It was really common. I think it was used for chest colds. I found a mention on a mountain memory page. But that was all.
