Shakespeare quote

These are the words of Ben Jonson. Actually, the exact quote is slightly different, viz. "He was not of an age, but for all time!" Cf. URL.

Does anyone know the origin of the quote:

"Shakespeare is not of an age but of all time".

For some reason I think that Churchill might have said it, however he seems a rather random source for such a statement!
