Persian flaw

I am sure it refers in some way to the Greek classic period but I have seen the phrase used in a way to indicate an inherent flaw in a character or situation. I'd like to know exactly what a 'Persian flaw' means and where it comes from. Is it the attack that puts 'all of ones eggs in one basket' or the character flaw that is 'sins of the fathers handed to the sons'?

: Just a guess: It might allude to the custom of Persian rugmakers who wove one deliberate mistake into each rug on the principle that only God could make something perfect.
