: The phrase I have presented is an original by me.
: It came to my thoughts as I was writing to the Chairman of a large
: newspaper chain. I have deduced the meaning to be that which I
: stated earlier. It has a meaning opposite to the traditional
: phrase, and by your response it seems this phrase was unknown
: until I presented it. Therefore I conclude it is clearly original
to me.
: I will have to study the meaning of "God is in the details" to
: determine if this phrase equates to mine in meaning.
You'll forgive us if we didn't see the forest for your trees. More appropriate to your phrase you might also investigate "the devil is in the detail".
