Florida room

: What is the origin of this phrase? It refers to a sunroom or enclosed porch but I would like to know when it first came into use.

I found "Florida room" (a sunroom, one with large windows to catch the sun) in two of my references but no indication of when it was coined. One said the term is used in Florida and the South. I think it has a late 50s sound. Anyone have a guess?
