: : Just guessing: Given the context, it most likely means "If you start feeling depressed," "If you feel a bad mood coming on."

: The sky falling is similar to "if your world comes crashing in".
: In other words "Things" aren't going the way you wished they were.-as in unfortunate instances, bad luck etc..

The two answers above offer different perspectives--one interior, one exterior. To synthesize them: The stanza is an offer to comfort somebody who is troubled or has troubles.
