: : What is definition of "through the glass darkly" ?

: I know that 'Through a glass darkly' was the title of an Isaac Azimov short story. The phrase has also been adopted by some pressure who peer into the future, see what they want to see, and warn accordingly.

Prior to the Isaac Asimov short story, it was a novel by Kathleen Norris, which was published in 1955 and made into a movie in 1961 by Ingmar Bergman. KM
