: Who wrote the phrase, 'Where there is a will there is a way'?
Nobody: it's a folk proverb. According to the Oxford Dictionary of Proverbs, the first known version of it, "To him that will, ways are not wanting", was recorded in a collection of proverbs in 1640. (VSD)
