I'm not sure if its just my family, or where I grew up, but we use a phrase such as. "It wasnt half good" "it isnt half bad" "we didnt half have a good time" "my feet arn't half aching". I just wondered if its a local dialect thing or where it came from. I am originally from Derbyshire. I now live in Lincolnshire. Any help would be great. Thanks.
