"Doc holiday did not say this to Wyatt Earp in the movie, he said it to "Johnny Ringo" who was a fast gunslinger that road with the outlaws in this movie. "Doc Holiday (Val Kilmer) went to fight "Johnny Ringo" because he knew Wyatt could not beat him in a gunfight so he defended Wyatt and killed "Johnny Ringo". He said this phrase when he approached him.
