Hi there! This has been bothering me for quite some time.. OK. It hasn't kept me up at nights or anything!
In any event, my grandmother always uses the expression, "What do you want? Egg in your beer?"
In context, she uses it as though to say, "What more could you want" or "Isn't that enough?"
The phrase makes it seem as though it's a good thing to have egg in your beer. A recipe I rather not try!
So if anyone can enlighten me as to "egg in your beer's" meaning I would appreciate it plus...
I'll buy the next round!
