The pot is black, the kettle is black.
The pot is self righteously condemning a characteristic of the kettle
that the pot posseses itself.
The pot becomes a hypocrite and has lost its own righteousness.
The same could be said of strawberries calling raspberries red.
"well isn't this a case of the strawberry calling the raspberry red ?"
The contradiction being that the strawberry is critical of the color red, yet is itself red yet maintains itself to be righteous.
