As black as a Nugent's knocker

Thanks for an interesting and informative site.

I just wondered if you were aware of the variation of the prhrase "As black as a Newgate's knocker" - "As black as a Nugent's knocker".

I originally Googled the latter and got only a few hits. But I have certainly heard the phrase used.
