Trick or treat

The article about the phrase "trick or treat" says that Chaucer mentions the practice of souling, although not by that name, in the 1300s. Souling is going door to door to beg for alms in return for offering to pray for the souls of the dead. Does anyone know where this practice is mentioned in Chaucer?
