: : Does the phrase 'nine mile nuts' refer only to food and drink or to ANYTHING sustaining?

Only 5 Google hits - 4 of them slang dictionaries and 1 not in English which appears to be a (poorly done) translating lesson. I'm not very worried by the nuances of the phrase as it doesn't seem to be in use this century, but according to those hits it does seem to refer to sustenance taken by mouth and not hope (or pillars or i-beams or whatever falls under anything sustaining).
(edit - left out the word "mouth" in my first post)
