: : "Dang, Gina." Where did this originate and what is it's meaning?

: There's evidence on the internet to suggest it came from the Fox TV show Martin, starring Martin Lawrence, in the late 1990's. There was a character named Gina, and "Dang, Gina" became a catch phrase.

: In my generation there were people who would occasionally say "Dammit, Janet" which is from the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

And "Jeez Louise" from the film Thelma and Louise was also popular for a while. Pamela
