Finish stronger

: I got a fwd mail '40 rules of career success'. The last rule is 40 - As they say in boxing, "Always finish stronger than you start." What does this mean?

For example, if you're giving a speech end with something interesting/amazing/inspiring, etc. Leave the best part of the speech for the last
