It's kind of like the Merle Haggard song "The Fightin' Side of Me." :There's also a good side. "You just want to get on my good side," is a way of saying, "You're just trying to butter me up." Or, "He got on my good side by promising to take my little sister to the dance. I certainly wouldn't take her." Obviously, events, suggestions, other inanimate things can have a good side and a bad side. I assume you were talking about humans' bad side. SS |
