: Maybe you want to include the phrase "I am my father's son" or "Father's son." Can't find it anywhere! THANKS

Didn't I see this question before? Did I ask you then if you wanted to know what it meant? Well, in any case, here goes. "I am my father's son" means mostly, "I'm a chip off the old block. If you knew my father, you know me." When you say, "He is his father's son," similarly you mean he's a chip off the old block, he's just like his dad in the ways that count, The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. If you know some exceptions or nuances to this interpretation, please give forth.
