: I recently read a billboard that had the phrase "nothing even comes close" on it in reference to an entertainment resort. Is that grammatically correct or should it read "nothing else even comes close"?

With my pedants had firmly on my head I might just see where you're coming from but really 'nothing even comes close' is perfectly acceptable; not least because it's perfectly understandable.
