: Recently a friend received a letter a bit nasty to the point and instead of yours truly or sincerly yours
: it was signed Namaste, and their name does anybody know what this means ?

I found many references on the net to the word Namaste. Here are a few which I saw repeated on different sites:

Namaste Means:
"The Great Perfection within me honors the Great Perfection within you".
The Great Perfection is the vast part of ourselves that is truly one with the universe, one with all others; one with all there is. This is true regardless of national origin, culture, race, age, political affiliation, religious or spiritual affiliation, gender, sexual orientation, physical looks, physical condition or whatever.

Namaste: An ancient Sanskrit word meaning: "I honor the place within you where the entire Universe resides. I honor the place within you of Love and Light, of Truth and Peace. When you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, there is only ONE of us".

"Namaste !...
Nepalese greeting meaning,"I salute the divine qualities in you."
