The Wreck of the Hesperus
What does "Wreck of the hespes" mean?
"The Wreck of the Hesperus" is a poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, from 1841. It is, frankly, dreadful.
I agree; undoubtedly one of the worst pieces of verse ever to find its way into print.
It's a ship wreck. Right?
