: hey everybody!
: wana ask...
: I heard about a saying that "i am a six-step program", which seems to be used in conversation about "drinking"
: so can anybody explain its meaning and origin for me?
It's actually "twelve step program" and it originated with Alcoholics Anonymous in 1935. The meaning is pretty simple. The first step toward recovery from alcoholism is to admit you have a problem, the second is to admit you can't solve this problem by yourself, and so on. The steps get harder as you go, of course. For further info you can go stright to the A.A. website at http://www.alcoholics-anonymous.org/?Media=PlayFlash
