: question: does anyone know where the sampled quote in the Go-Cart Mozart song (it's called 'On a building site' - I think) lyrics come from? - 'what's going on over there? looks like there's a little bit of trouble'. I have been told it may be from a 60s/70s tv series?
:

That's from an early Bruce Springsteen song called "Blinded by the Light" . It was originally recorded by Springsteen but became a hit when it was covered by Manfred Mann's Earth Band, and the Springsteen version now gets a lot of play on "classic rock" radio.

"And go-cart Mozart was checkin' out the
weather chart see if it was safe outside
And little Early Burly came by in his curly wurly
and asked me if I needed a ride"
