Good Gawd Nighlanders!
This isn't really a question, it's just me sharing with you....
My old nan used the above phrase a lot when she was cross or "flummoxed" (confused) by something - I think "good Gawd Nighlanders" meant "good God!".
It took me years before it dawned on me that it was supposed to be "good Gordon Highlanders" - a famous regiment from her younger days.
Another one of her "swearing-without-swearing" sayings was "blamn and dast!" - I'll let you work out what that one was....
