A google search yielded nothing. Still looking.

There is a song by someone called Eddy Arnold that doesn't include the quote, but which details the damage that moving one grain of sand can do in you life e.g. "Just one little grain of sand can change your life and ruin your plans/Undermine your house of love bring it tumbling down/One one one grain of sand."
