Steal ice

Do you know what "steal ice" means? I hve a phrase saying: "The robbers wanted to steal ice". Couls someone help me? Thank you.

"Ice" is slang for diamonds.

Another way of looking at it -- someone who would steal "ice" meaning the frozen water version -- would have to be really stupid.
