Worm walk

: I was wondering if anyone new what the following phrase means or where it comes from. In the original Karate Kid movie, one of the characters named Tommy, when told he cant beat up Danniel till the tourniment yells at him - "What if we take a worm for a walk week".

: I could never figure out what the heck that means. Can someone help?

The line is "It must be 'Take a Worm for a Walk' week." - a joking reference to some sort of event along the lines of 'Take Your Daughter to Work' day, etc. RRC
