"My dog's meaner than your dog"

"My dog's meaner than your dog" I think was a chant/taunt and might have been in a Broadway play or song some years ago. I always thought it was like saying,
"My dad can whip your dad" or "My dad makes more money than your dad." etc. Can anyone help?
