Go fish

: What is the meaning of "go fish"? I came across this phrase while watching the movie "catch me if you can" by leonardo with jennifer at the scene when the former negotiates a price with the latter.
I am guessing that it refers to a children's card game: Go Fish.

".The player then gets to ask for another card. If the player to his left does not have that card, the person they asked says, "GO FISH!" The player then takes a card from the pile."
