May I suggest without offence an improvement in your English style? Idiomatic English requires with "I come," at least in this context, an adverb. I sometimes come, I rarely come, I never come, I often come. In other contexts it might be other adverbs. You might also say, "I have come across the phrase ...." You could also say, "I came across the phrase...." In that context you don't need an adverb, and should not use any of those mentioned above. With "I have come...." adverbs are completely optional.
