Wrapped around your finger

What does "you've got me wrapped around your finger" mean?

It means 'I am your plaything': 'You can get me to do anything you want'.

I've only ever heard this as "wrap someone about one's little finger". It has certainly been going for decades in the UK in that form. (VSD)

The Irish pop group The Cranberries had a hit in the early 1990's called "Linger" in which they used the phrase as the original poster put it. I think they took out the word "little" so the line would fit the melody.
