Excessive praise

: Can anyone tell me if there is a phrase which means something like: to heap such excessive praise on someone as to really insult them" (i.e. sarcastic use of hyperbole). Sort of the opposite of "damn with faint praise" if you like.

To feint with damned praise is the first thing that comes to mind...
