: I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHY IF YOUR TROUSERS ARE TOO SHORT WHY PEOPLE WOULD SAY HAS YOUR CAT DIED ALSO FLY IN THE OINTMENT OR STOCKS MONEY

I've never heard that expression for short pants. We say they are "high waters."
