: What is the meaning of the Yorkshire phrase "Thread t'needle"?
According to Eric Partridge, "A Dictionary of Slang and Unconventional English," "thread the needle" is an obsolete phrase meaning to have sexual intercourse with a woman. I don't know that this is the Yorkshire meaning you're looking for.
