: Okay people,

: There is a phrase that dates back to the early 13th century. There has been a debate since that time as to what the proper form of this phrase is. The phrase is, "Try and / to go." The debate is between what is proper "Try to go" or "Try and go". Any thoughts? What do you say?

I think city people say "try to go" and country people "try and go." As in, "I'm gonna try 'n' go to church this Sunday."
