: Could anyone tell me teh difference between *dried humour* adn *black humour*?

: thanks

It's dry humour, by the way (and I am honoUr-bound to highlight your correct spelling of humour). It's also a good question, and a difference that's hard to articulate. Both types of humour are ironic and two-edged, rather than about belly laughs. Black humour tends to be based on subject matter that when viewed objectively is univerally horrific or tragic, whereas dry humour is more individualised, not bitter but still somewhat waspish.
