; Most television and radio shows are scripted with blocks (slots) of interview 'fill'time and computer-timed commercial breaks. The segmented slots are filled with different interviews and features. Obviously, someone wanted the Britney Spears segment of the show to be 'stretched' beyond its allotted time.
