In the context of Riverdance, 'breaks the line to home' refers to the various Irish diasporas when people had to leave Ireland for a better life in other parts of the world. Many lost contact with their families and loves they left behind at home. : 'A stóirín' (storeen) = 'my little treasure' : And who said the French are the most romantic people?
