: : Thereabouts=
: : near that place or number: near that place, amount, number, or time
: : We're expecting twenty guests or thereabouts.(or some where around the number???)
: : Is it commonly used?
: : thanks
: From Merriam-Webster:
: Main Entry: there·abouts
: Variant(s): also there·about
: Function: adverb
: 1 : near that place or time
: 2 : near that number, degree, or quantity. A boy of 18 or thereabouts.
It is (regrettably) in fairly common usage in the UK.
